The Story So Far

Lost Minds was born out of a desire to bring an eclectic mix of Dance Music from across the world to the North East of England.

It first emerged in 2022, delivering a stellar show with global superstars flying in from across the globe - and we’ve not looked back.

Since then, the event has grown year-on-year with some of the biggest DJs in the world making their way to the Lost Minds stages across multiple genres like EDM, Trance, Hard Dance, and more.

2022 kicked off with the likes of Nicky Romero, Ben Nicky, Brennan Heart and special guests Vini Vici, and Lost Minds soon cemented itself as one of the best festivals in Newcastle.

In 2023, the Lost Minds team invited W&W, Sub Zero Project, Aly & Fila, Dr Peacock and more to showcase their talents across three stages. Ben Nicky returned for a second year due to popular demand!

Once again hidden under the watchful eye of the epic St James’ stadium lies Leazes Park, Lost Minds held the most hyped dance music festival of the year.

This year, 2024, Lost Minds returned with a twist, a fourth arena added for Kiddstock fans. Plus, the almighty Cream came on board to head up the Trance stage.

The crème de la crème of the dance music world from Example to Newcastle’s very own Ben Hemsley took to the Main Stage, while world class acts like Will Sparks and Gunz For Hire could be seen at the other packed stages across the park.

For 2025, Lost Minds will be bringing something a little different to the fans. We can’t say much for now, but stay tuned and #forgetwhatyouknow.
